The Brief:

One of our most recent projects for our loyal shopping centre clients, Greensborough Plaza, came about as centre management reached out to us to provide some form of engaging entertainment for their Little Explorers (Kids Club) community, during the longer than expected, Easter school holidays.

With the unprecedented Covid-19 situation in place and impending closure of many of their retailers, we were approached to come up with a solution on how to entertain this age group digitally, whilst staying on brand.

 

Did we mention there was a 3 day turn around on this too??

The Result:

 

We quickly devised a plan of attack with our ACTIV Digital team, selected 5 different fictional children's stories that are all completely different styles and portray very important messages. 

We knew one of our ACTIV Crew talent would make the perfect fairy and is an experienced actor and children's performer, then hunted down the perfect fairy costume, prepared the production brief for all parties involved then off we went!

Production day was a dream. We filmed our Green Fairy in the colourful Leafy Hollow playground on site at the plaza - which kicked off with a Facebook Live streaming of "The Secret Garden" and live competition for one of the lucky viewers to win a $50 Robinsons Bookshop voucher.

Our lucky winner was announced live and their facebook page was lit up with loads of positive comments throughout the streaming.

We turned around all 5 of the story videos completely edited and polished to perfection within a couple of days, so that the client could stick to scheduling these as events on their Youtube channel for a few hours each time only.

The feedback from children and parents has been wonderful, building long lasting advocacy with their shopper community and proving that they really do give back and care for the community.
